Position Summary
As a Carpet Cleaning Technician, you are a key team member responsible for providing carpet, tile, upholstery, air duct, and restoration cleaning services to residential and commercial customers throughout your assigned territory.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in helping customers, and can effectively manage time to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial carpet, tile, grout, upholstery, and air duct cleaning services
- Respond to restoration, remediation, sanitation, and specialty cleaning jobs according to IICRC standards and company processes
- Apply expert techniques for stain removal, odor mitigation, and specialty cleaning treatments
- Utilize state-of-the-art cleaning and restoration equipment safely and effectively
- Establish and maintain schedules to ensure services are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate with customers regarding scope of work, expectations, and necessary documentation
- Document all job-related information accurately for job costing and operational purposes
- Maintain company equipment to ensure cleanliness, proper operation, and readiness at all times
- Participate in on-call rotation, including potential night and weekend work
- Travel throughout South Carolina with potential overnight stays as needed
- Cross-train in related restoration services and assist with additional duties as needed
Requirements & Skills
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Empathy, professionalism, and strong customer service skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the Restoration Industry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug test and extensive background screening
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Comfortable standing/walking for extended periods, working at elevated heights, and working in confined spaces while wearing PPE
- Ability to work overtime, participate in on-call rotations, and travel statewide as needed
