Experienced Restoration/Mitigation Technician
Rainbow International specializes in all aspects of water, fire, smoke, and mold mitigation, and repairs. Mitigation services include emergency 24/7 response, extraction, selective demolition, restorative drying, emergency services and stabilization, contents inventory, pack-out and cleaning as well as structural cleaning and deodorization.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Become proficient in water restoration, extraction, dry outs, mold remediation, and fire damage clean-up.
- Maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely manner
- Respond to water jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC standards and Rainbow International's process
- Communicate with customers about scope of work and review necessary paperwork
- Maintain all company restoration and cleaning equipment, keeping them clean and properly maintained to be available at all times.
- Perform damage mitigation demolition such as; carefully detaching and/or removing flooring, cabinets, drywall, insulation, trim etc..
- Move affected contents.
- Follow written procedures for emergency services.
- Daily completion and tracking of job paperwork, timecards, checkout forms, vehicle records and other necessary paperwork.
Job Requirements:
- Restoration and construction experience is critical, 2+ years or more
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License with clean record
- Own means of transportation to work
- Must be able to pass drug test
- Must be able to pass background check
- Being available for routine on call rotational emergency services and after-hours work.
- Ability to work safely in a construction environment
- Computer literate, with working knowledge of work processing, business software and spreadsheet applications is extremely helpful
- Knowledge of Xactimate, DASH, MICA is extremely helpful!
- IICRC Certifications are a plus!
Physical requirements:
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to lift, stand, squat, climb, crawl, dig, load, unload, prepare and clean site, clean and maintain equipment and tools.
- The workspace may be contaminated with heavy smoke residue, mold, contaminated water or other unsanitary conditions. Protective gear is available for use and is required on certain work sites.
- Must be able to work in tight space, at heights and in crawl spaces
Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour (depends on experience)
Job Type: 30-40+ hours
Schedule: M-F
- On call
- Weekends as needed
