Position Summary

A Fire & Contents Cleaning Technician is a key component of our restoration team, responsible for providing fire, smoke, contents, and specialty cleaning services to residential and commercial customers.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in fast-paced environments, takes pride in helping others during difficult situations, and wants to grow within the Restoration Industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean smoke residue from contents and structures
  • Pack, move, and protect contents carefully to avoid damage
  • Photograph, identify, and inventory contents accurately
  • Perform post-job site cleaning and maintain clean, organized work areas
  • Respond to restoration, remediation, damage, and sanitary cleaning jobs according to IICRC standards and company processes
  • Establish and maintain schedules to ensure all services are delivered in a timely manner
  • Maintain timely communication with peers regarding job status, scope of work, and documentation
  • Maintain all company restoration and cleaning equipment to ensure cleanliness and operational readiness
  • Utilize proper PPE and follow all company safety procedures
  • Cross-train in related restoration services and assist with additional duties as needed
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to work with your hands and be part of a team-focused environment

Requirements & Skills

  • Not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get dirty
  • Positive attitude with empathy and strong customer service skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the Restoration Industry
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a drug test and extensive background screening
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
  • Comfortable standing/walking for extended periods, working at elevated heights, and working in confined spaces while wearing PPE
  • Available for full-time work with overtime and on-call rotations
