Position Summary
The HR & Talent Coordinator supports the day-to-day Human Resources and recruiting functions across multiple business entities and locations. This role focuses heavily on recruiting coordination, onboarding, employee support, administrative HR functions, and maintaining organized HR processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their HR career who wants exposure to all areas of Human Resources in a fast-paced, growing environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with recruiting efforts including reviewing resumes, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and communicating with applicants
- Coordinate onboarding and pre-employment processes including background checks, new hire paperwork, and orientation scheduling
- Support employee relations efforts by assisting with documentation, follow-up communication, and HR administrative tasks
- Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS systems are updated accurately and timely
- Assist with performance review tracking, employee documentation, and corrective action administration
- Support benefit administration processes and employee questions
- Help maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment practices
- Coordinate employee communication, engagement initiatives, and HR-related follow-up items
- Assist with auditing personnel files and maintaining confidential employee information
- Provide administrative support for HR projects, reporting, and organizational initiatives
- Support multiple locations and entities with day-to-day HR needs
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements & Skills
- Strong interest in building a long-term career in Human Resources
- Previous administrative, recruiting, office, customer service, or HR-related experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred but not required
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Comfortable learning new systems and technology platforms
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team
- Experience with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems preferred
- Valid Driver’s License preferred
