Job Summary

Rainbow Restoration of Miami Lakes is seeking a full-time Lead Technician / Field Project Manager to oversee on-site execution of water, mold, and restoration projects.

This is a hands-on field leadership role focused on technical accuracy, crew supervision, and disciplined execution. This is not a desk-based project manager role.

Candidates must be comfortable following IICRC-based processes, documenting work thoroughly, and operating within clearly defined authority limits.

This Role Is a Fit If You:

  • Calculate equipment needs using IICRC principles, not instinct
  • Rely on moisture measurements, psychrometrics, and documentation
  • Are comfortable with owner oversight and escalation
  • Want a full-time role with structure and accountability
  • Can lead crews professionally on active job sites
  • Understand that HOA and insurance work requires precision and discipline

This Role Is NOT a Fit If You:

  • Decide equipment placement by “eyeballing” a property
  • Rely mainly on paper moisture readings
  • Prefer per-project, freelance, or side-work arrangements
  • Expect authority over pricing, scope, or adjuster negotiations
  • Resist documentation or structured reporting
  • Dislike defined processes or accountability

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site execution of water, mold, and restoration projects
  • Calculate and place drying equipment based on affected class and materials
  • Supervise labor and subcontractors on site
  • Enforce safety, quality, and cleanliness standards
  • Perform moisture mapping and daily documentation including photos and readings
  • Communicate job status clearly to ownership
  • Escalate scope, demo, and deviation decisions for approval
  • Represent the company professionally to clients and partners,

Required Qualifications

  • Restoration field leadership experience as a Lead Tech, Crew Chief, or similar
  • Working knowledge of IICRC drying principles
  • Comfort with digitally capturing moisture measurement and documentation
  • Ability to manage crews and job sites independently
  • Willingness to work full-time
  • Reliable transportation and availability for emergency response

Preferred Qualifications

  • IICRC WRT-ASD certifications or higher
  • Florida mold or restoration experience
  • Insurance restoration background
