As a Reconstruction Coordinator, you will work closely with the reconstruction project manager and superintendents to ensure projects flow smoothly. From contract to completion, you will update clients on job progress while working behind the scenes to make sure the jobs run smoothly. Your Responsibilities as a Reconstruction Coordinator

You’ll be a key component of our team responsible for the successful completion of reconstruction projects from start to finish. As you grow in experience, here are some of the things you will do:

* Receive incoming calls, from clients, vendors, insurance companies, and field staff.

* Communicate with customers throughout restoration process

* Assist with the scheduling of services with staff, customers, and insurance

* For each job:

  • Discuss contracts, get signatures, and help clients make selections that are within budget
  • Coordinate with client to handle mortgage paperwork if necessary
  • Create work orders and change orders for each job
  • Update stakeholders about job progress
  • Create invoices in a timely manner that reflect job progress per contract stipulations
  • Collect final payments as well as certificate of completion/satisfaction

* Accounts Receivable, following up on outstanding invoices and collections

* Work closely with project manager and superintendent to ensure smooth job flow

* Clerical duty as required including customer and job data entry into proprietary software

* Utilize an organized filing system, upload and keep record of important data

* Serve as a backup for office manager, answering calls and entering new jobs if necessary


How to be Successful as a Repair Coordinator

Your success as a Repair Coordinator is entirely within your control.

We won’t sugarcoat it; we deal with emergencies! With emergencies comes high stressed customers, who, at times may need empathy and reassurance that everything will be ok. Exceptional communication in all situations will be important. Also, a successful repair coordinator will need to be comfortable with a very fast paced environment and flexible as each job can be very different.

Job Requirements for the Repair Coordinator

Here are the minimum requirements to be considered for this job.

* Must have a valid driver’s license.

* Must be able to pass a background check.

* Must be able to sit for extended periods of time; much of this job is computer based.

* Must be available to work extended hours during emergency situations.

* Accounting and QuickBooks experience preferred.


Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Employees will be eligible for health insurance, vision, dental, life insurance, and company bonuses after a probationary period.
