Reconstruction Managers receive a competitive base salary plus incentives/commission, a company vehicle, an electronics package, plus paid holidays and PTO. Health care, dental, and vision insurance plus a retirement plan with company match are also available.

 

Position Summary:

The Reconstruction Project Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of the project cycle for reconstruction projects by providing direction and coordination of all field activities related any coordinated subcontracts and installation teams. This position also manages the project schedule throughout the project lifecycle and secures any unique materials, permits, and/or equipment required to complete the project.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare & execute the master schedule of each reconstruction project and manage them to completion.
  • Work with Estimators to review and oversee job estimates.
  • Determine, organize, and manage subcontractors, tradesmen, and technicians..
  • Coordinate estimates from subcontractors.
  • Maintain strategic relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Maintain efficient and accurate flow of production paperwork.
  • Order project materials and coordinate delivery to job site.
  • Ensure and monitor materials usage within budget and scope.
  • Exceed profitability targets on managed projects.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers and all parties involved, including homeowners, third party owners, building engineers, property managers, and tenants.
  • Perform property inspections and complete reports.
  • Take after hours on-call phone rotation every 5th week.

 

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, and government requirements.
  • Maintain project file with all documentation and expenditures for job-related materials.
  • Attend departmental and company meetings as required.
  • Inform immediate supervisor of any observed inaccuracies or omissions in quoted items or computer database.

Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Education and Experience - 3+ years’ relevant experience within the restoration or construction industry.
  • Language Skills - Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
  • Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages, and draw and interpret property sketches and graphs.
  • Computer Skills - Experience with Xactimate and Xactware preferred, but not required. Intermediate capability in using word processing software, spreadsheet software, email systems, and the internet. 
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable.
  • Pass a background check and have a clean driving record.

 

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

None required for this position. IICRC and/or RIA certifications are helpful.
