Job Title: Recruiter

Department: Human Resources / Talent Acquisition

Reports To: HR Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter to manage the full-cycle recruitment process. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating the hiring of qualified candidates to meet organizational staffing needs. This role requires strong communication skills, organization, and the ability to build relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles from requisition to offer.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements and workforce needs.
  • Develop and post job advertisements on job boards, social media, and internal platforms.
  • Source candidates through databases, networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone/video interviews.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Conduct reference and background checks as needed.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and quality of hire.
  • Support employer branding and recruiting events such as job fairs or campus outreach.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
  • HR Certification strongly preferred (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, aPHR, PHR, SPHR, CSP, etc)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and standard office software.
  • Experience recruiting in restoration.
  • Experience in handling confidential information
  • Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices.

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Full-time, typically Monday–Friday.
  • Onsite
  • Occasional evening or weekend events (career fairs, hiring events) may be required.
  • Travel may be required due to locations spanning across Virginia and South Carolina.
