Position Summary

As a Restoration Crew Lead, you are a key team member responsible for the restoration of homes and businesses that have been damaged by water, smoke, fire, debris, or other methods of damage. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees. This role is right for you if you are self-motivated, thrive in fast-moving environments, and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a small team to safely and effectively mitigate damages
  • Provide proficient performance in water restoration and mold remediation according to IICRC standards and Rainbow processes
  • Respond to water jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC standards and Rainbow Restoration's processes
  • Perform scope of work, moisture mapping, photos, and any necessary paperwork for each job
  • Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely manner
  • Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers
  • Inventory and load vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
  • Maintain all company restoration and cleaning equipment, keeping them clean and properly maintained to be available at all times
  • Demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service, attention to detail, and technical knowledge
  • Perform other duties as needed, which may include cross-training in related positions

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in water, fire, or mold restoration strongly preferred
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have a valid medical card, or be able to obtain a DOT medical card
  • IICRC certification (WRT, ASD, or equivalent) preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Computer literate, with working knowledge of word processing, moisture mapping, Xactimate, and business software
  • Proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers
  • Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to work on-call and respond to emergency situations as needed
