Rainbow Restoration of Greenville is seeking a Staff Accountant that is comfortable working independently and taking direction from multiple avenues. This is a hands-on role that will work closely with the Chief Finance Officer to assist in the day-to-day operations and ensure successful workflow of the department.

This role is full time and pay range between $45,000 to $60,000 annually based on experience.

The Staff Accountant will perform essential data entry functions to include but not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Card Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliation, General Ledger, and other accounting functions as needed.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Knowledgeable understanding of financial and operational data
  • Perform accounting activities such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other daily accounting duties
  • Compile, validate, classify, and post invoices into assigned systems
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
  • Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
  • Reconciliations of credit card statements as well as bank statements to the general ledger
  • Support leadership in creating new processes to improve financial efficiency
  • Serve as a liason with project managers for job costing alignment.
  • Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
  • Prepare journal entries and post to the general ledger
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned


Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the payroll functions to include the preparation, balancing, and internal controls.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of QuickBooks Online
  • Experience in accounting/payroll
