Your Responsibilities as a Water/Fire Mitigation Project Manager
You’ll be a key component of our team providing mitigation services to our customers. As you grow in experience, here are some of the things you will do:
* Respond to emergencies both during and after normal business hours on an on-call rotation basis.
* Set up mitigation teams with clear directions on new projects.
* Assist mitigation team with demolition when needed.
* Provide quality control on all emergency services jobs.
* Institute best practices and following all IICRC guidelines.
* Manage all paperwork and reports for every assigned project.
* Daily compliance check on data entry and documentation.
* Monitor and track equipment.
* Perform monthly equipment inventories.
* Manage and organize multiple tasks and projects.
* Create, monitor, and schedule all emergency services jobs in collaboration with the Emergency Services Manager.
* Proper sketch within the first 24 hours of a new project provided to the Mitigation Estimator.
* Daily demo tracking forms filled out and turned to Estimator.
* Contact customers via phone and email to provide job status updates/crew arrival times.
* Communicate with Emergency Services Manager on job progress and status reports by participating in weekly team meetings.
* Effectively supervise and motivate a team of Emergency Services Crew/Technicians.
* Conduct yearly performance reviews with Crew Chiefs/Technicians.
* Perform other functionally related duties as assigned.
How to be Successful as a Water/Fire Mitigation Project Manager
Your success as a Water/Fire Mitigation Project Manager is entirely within your control. We won’t sugarcoat it; this can be a tough job. You’ll often work in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and other rooms in a home that are contaminated due to fire or flood or other damage. You can’t be afraid to get dirty.

Job Requirements for the Water/Fire Mitigation Project Manager
Here are the minimum requirements to be considered for this job.
* Mitigation and construction experience preferred
* Active IICRC Certifications in at least one of the following: WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT
* Must have a valid driver’s license.
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
* Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.
* Must be able to wear respiratory equipment and PPE.
* Must be available to work after hours, and on rotation for emergency calls.
* Clean Background check
* Good Driving record
The pay range for this position is $30-$40 per hour with commissions, on-call bonuses and overtime available.
